D'ESPAIRSRAY have announced their first release in nearly 16 years!
While the band has been tentatively back since last year, they've ramped up their activities and announced their first new material since their 4th album back in 2010.
RAPTURE will be released on May 13th. The single contains 5 tracks, although the 4 b-sides are various karaoke versions of the title song. You can check out a teaser video below.
Additionally, a few cool live events have been announced. The first is a D'ESPAIRSRAY museum, held at the ESP Museum in Tokyo. This limited-time event will feature the band's instruments and stage equipment, some of which will be used the day before for a show at Zepp DiverCity, as well as memorabilia and previous costumes.
The band will hold a oneman 『RAPTURE』 at Zepp DiverCity on May 4th. However, if you're looking to grab tickets, the show is currently sold out.
A second oneman has been announced well in advanced. 「CLIMAX」 will be held on December 30th at KT Zepp Yokohama, at which VIP and VVIP ticket holders will receive a DVD containing the an off-shot DVD for the music video for the band's new song. VVIP tickets also come with an original poster + signing session after the performance. You can read more about this on the band's website.
