ARLEQUIN (アルルカン) vocalist Aki (暁) will temporarily cease performing due vocal nodules.
He went to the doctor today (the 27th) complaining of throat pains. (Apparently, Aki had felt problems beginning in February, but refrained from doing anything about it due to not wanting to jeopardize the band's building success.) The doctor's diagnosis was inflammation of the vocal cords due to overexertion while singing. As such, Aki has been instructed to refrain from singing for one month. He will be absent from the band's upcoming oneman lives, beginning on 2016-07-02 and through their 2016-07-27.
The other 4 members will perform on those dates―and in typical fashion, requests for refunds will not be honored (lol).
I hope he'll get better soon, and that he'll work with a trainer to develop less harmful vocal techniques!
